Improvement of Algorithm for Formation of Orthogonal Components of Input Quantities in Microprocessor Protection

چکیده

The use of orthogonal components (OC) underlies the construction measuring elements modern protection and automation devices. In most microprocessor-based protections, component input signal is extracted using a discrete Fourier transform (DFT). DFT disadvantages are its low speed, which more than one period fundamental frequency, as well sensitivity to free aperiodic component, creates significant conversion errors depending on time constant decay. Such settling true output often unacceptable for design high-speed paper proposes form OC equivalent according values cosine sine harmonic, formed by multiplying them resulting correction factor. developed algorithm formation signals in microprocessor protections characterized high speed transient modes it has wide functionality.
